Participation of Pact for Skills in Tourism at ITB

PacTS4ALL was honored to be a key participant at ITB 2025, one of the world’s most influential travel trade shows, which took place from March 4 to 6, 2025, at Hall 4.1 – Stand 306. The event provided an invaluable platform for industry leaders, tourism professionals, and educational institutions to discuss the future of skills in tourism and explore opportunities for collaboration.

During ITB 2025, PacTS4ALL engaged with over 70 top industry professionals to discuss the changing skill requirements for the tourism workforce, fostered international collaborations to ensure high-quality, future-proof training programs, explored funding and training opportunities that aligned with the evolving needs of the tourism sector, and promoted sustainable, responsible, and innovative tourism development through skills enhancement and professional education.

At ITB 2025, we were represented by our distinguished team of experts and representatives: Antonio Gennarelli, Project Manager at EVBB (Association of European Training Bodies); Klaus Ehrlich Secretary General of RuralTour and Coordinator of Pact for Skills and Francisco Javier Cansinos, Senior Trainer and Researcher at RuralTour; and Danai Nestoridou, Project Manager at AKMI S.A. Also, around 7-8 people from the Austrian delegation (part of the network of RuralTour) held a meeting at our stand with Klaus Ehrlich).

These key figures engaged with visitors, provided valuable insights, and discussed innovative solutions in tourism training and skills development.
